I am 5"7" and I currently weigh 170 lbs. I am currently on the NutriSystem diet. NOT for a "quick fix". I am on it only for a month to get my eating back in control. I want to lose 40 or more lbs. by July. Is this possible?

It depends on your previous calorie levels, and how intense your workout is.

I'd say that it is definately possible to lose 40 pounds by July - just keep in mind that those last 10 pounds are going to be hard once you get near your target weight. Sounds like you have a good program going - to keep it going when you go "off" NutriSystem, try to figure out how many calories you are consuming ON the plan and try to mimic it.

Yes, very possible. On a regular diet and excercise, you should lose 2 lbs a week...that's a healthy goal. Though people on nutrisystem claim sometimes 3-4...which isn't as healthy of a rate of loss. So that would be 8 pounds a month, and that would be 5 months...so june! Go for it baby!

OH yea it definatly that stuff is just to speed your metoblism and seperate your good calories from bad ones as long as your eating healthy and exersising ( Regularly) you should lose that weight in 4 to 5 months maximum keeping in mind your using like diet pills and supliments. i used to use nutrisystem i lost a lot of weight but you have to pay a lot though so i quit n saw a nutritonist for a diet plain my advice is to exersice and see one soon.

Yes I believe this is possible. Averaging about 8 pounds a month is healthy AND you will end up at your goal weight by July. Watch your calories and keep exercising...good luck!

Not safe to lose more than 3 lbs/week.

That is definately an attainable goal - as long as you stick to it. Make sure you do some exercise.

yes, run run run and eat a lot of fruit plus your regular meals but a little less
