If I know this girl, lets say she's a friend or a co-worker or a class mate. I'd say what are you doing Friday night? Would you feel like going to dinner or a movie with me? If I didn't know the girl very well I'd try to get to know her a little better by making small talk and finding things in common to talk about , after a while I'd ask her out, once I got to know her better.
