Since the prices of spaying a dog can vary based on where you live, the size of the dog, and perhaps other factors. Then the best way to find an answer to this is to call around to vets in your area and get a price. You also want to call around to local shelters/rescues to see if they have any spaying/netuering programs in your area. Most animal shelters/rescues either have them or sponsor them trhough local pet stores. Good Luck and Smart move.

Is this a new puppy and do you have a current vet?

If not, i highly suggest looking into Banfield Animal hospitals in the PetSmarts. they have a wellness plan that will cover all vaccinations, office visits, give you a discount on medications, and cover the entire cost of the spay/nueter. Its a great plan, especially for the first year you have a dog.

Depends on where you live. We are in a rural area and it costs about $75. I know in large metro areas it can cost more. Call the shelter and ask if there are any low cost spay/neuter clinics in the area.
