it depends on what state your in....here's what I could find. if you go to google and put in your state and inmate locator you should find something if this isn't helpful. based on your info. i did what i could! you need to check out what the jail allows you to send. most don't accept cash, but do accept money orders and such! Good luck!

you won't find that information, your best bet is to call the county jails. If he has been arrested and convicted of a felony and serving more than a year in a state prison you can go to the state website and do a inmate search. All states have them. You could also check the county clerk websites. The post the court documents on them, but this may not be so up to date, and if you do not know what county it is, this may take a little effort.

Don't pay money on an inmate search website. That is public record and you can find it for free. Just type in the search box, whatever state you are in, and inmate search. It will come up. You can even find federal inmates, but I don't remember the website...something that ended in gov, lol. Becareful, because this will make you really nosey for a little while...but it gives you all the inmates information regarding where they are, how long they are there, and what they did to get there. I found out a lot of people I know lied about what ended them up behind bars this way.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at FREEPEOPLESCAN.COM Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment. You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Go to your state homepage and look under either Law Enforcement Agencies or DOC information and there is usually a place to type the person's name or DOC # in. It will bring up all of the people in that state with the same name. If you look under the names it usually tells you where the person is located (which institution) what their crime is, when their out date is,what county they were arrested in in, and how long their sentence is.
