it depends how long he has been on the therapy. Sometimes it takes a month or so for a persons body to adjust to a new treatment. Also when a medication is taken it takes about 45 minutes for the med to be absorbed into the blood stream and begin working. So, by the time he takes the med, and you bring him to school, it may just be starting to kick in. Thats probably why he acts the same in the morning and evening. You didn't mention what meds he is taking so I cant tell you more, but if you have any other concerns you could go talk to the doc. If its a new treatment plan wait a week or so and see if things start to improve or even out.

Go talk to his doctor he may not like taking his medication so he may only be pretending to take them hiding them under his tongue till he has a chance to spit them out or putting them down the sink remember his doctor can not give you any of his information as it is all private but maybe the medication he is on is just not working well for him, meds sometimes take a bit to kick in have a talk to his doctor and see what he suggests and talk to your son it may not be easy but you two need to learn to communicate effectively but don't treat him like a child talk to him as a friend.

Well how old is your son??? If he is under age 18 then you can talk to him if you want.

But there really isn't any way to make him take the drugs. If he doesn't want to then he won't.
