Are looks really that important?

For the past 3 months, I have been dating this perfect guy. I refer to him as Mr. Right because he is smart, educated, has an excellent, well paying job. He is a v. giving person. I should add that he is tall and athletic. I see how other woman may find him attractive but he is just not my type. I don't see myself "falling" for him. So here is my question, are looks really that important? Maybe this relationship can grown into something serious on my part? Especially for those of you out there that are in successful committed relationships, what do you think?

Good looks are a nice perk, but they are not the whole picture. The inside is what really counts ( soul ) and if they are shallow and hung up on themselves? Then why put yourself at their alter worshiping them ? Find someone that " clicks" with you and I think you will be much happier.

Sometimes it feels like women have more pressure to look and act a certain way while guys can look like crap half the time.. either way looks will leave and you're left with just the person's personality. I think people tend to forget this.

so no, looks do but shouldn't matter that much.

It does not matter how perfect this guy may seem. If you are not attracted, then you you are not attracted. Perhaps you sense something that the outward appearance does not reveal immediately that you are not attracted to.

Looks shouldn't be that important but I feel people now days put too much emphasis on how people look instead of how they are lke on the inside

looks isnt that important but if u hate it coz he's gd looking then thats a problem lol ...anyway most importantly is how u feel when ure out with him !!! ...if it does feels right why stop it ?
