yea so this girl in my school, comes up to like evry other day and just stares at me and doesnt say a word. I try to start conversation to make it seem less akward, but she always has a small answer and it ends quickly? I friend of mine told her that i liked her and she said that she only likes me as a friend, and that she already has a boyfriend. But what i dont get is that she'll stop in the middle of the hallway and stare at me for like 10 sec then walk away slowly. Sometimes she'll try talking to me and othertimes she'll ignore the hell outta me. Im confused as hell. what does this all mean?

Funny you mentioned this because I had the exact same thing happened to me in highschool. I really didnt know what to make of it either. A guy who liked this girl thought she liked me. I really didnt, and still dont know what to make of it. Theres no point making a big deal out of it. Sounds like you already know where you stand with her. She knows you like her, she has a BF, and she only likes you as a friend. The staring thing is unnerving and weird so when she does it again fake a look behind you like she must be looking at someone else, then quirk an eyebrow and break left or right. Anyways if she had feelings for you she'd dump the other guy and make herself available, right? So dont think too much about it and play cool. Works like a charm.

well, if she has a boyfriend and said she only likes you for a friend, i would not get my hopes up. if she doesn't smile or blush or something, then I have a feeling she has something going through her mind. maybe she knows something that would be devistating to you or maybe it's something similar. either way, i would assume that, no she doesn't have a crush on you. but it's been a good ten years or so since i was walking the halls and thinking about winking at the boys. so who knows.......

If a girl stares at you, she is letting you know that she is interested in you.
Her behavior does sound rather odd - do your friends agree with you that this is what she does?
She has a boyfriend, so there is no pressure on you to do anything. Try to engage her in casual conversation. See where it leads. That's good advice in most situations!

Most likely means they are jealous of you... you're probably really pretty. I'm exactly the same, most of my friends are older than me. My best friend is 21... I hang around with the older kids in my college. All of the guys tell me that girls do it because they are jealous of me. They seem to think I'm really pretty...

She may have a secret crush on you. But she already has a boyfriend. Maybe she is waiting to see what happens with him. OR maybe she wants out of her relationship and doesn't know how to. Just ask her. If she just wants to be friends ask her.
She may think you're nice to look at. You know, eye candy :)

maybe she is being stupid. why the hell would you go up to a guy and do that? at least not stare and not say anything. maybe she likes your nose, eyes, mouth...i dont know. but she seems a little weird to me.

she may like you but i wouldn't make a move just yet cause she might just think you're weird truthfully unless you does the whole "looky while you don't then turn away really quick when you notice" thing.. she likes you but is like REALLY freaked out by the fact she does...

1. really likes you
2. is wondering why/if you are looking at her
3. is teasing you and wants you to like her because it makes her feel good.
