so i want to lose 15 pounds. i start off the day usually pretty well, having a healthy breakfast, and not eating too much for lunch (usually a grilled cheese and an apple). but then im in a situation where there are brownies or other unhealthy foods and then if i have one, i feel like the whole day of healthy eating is ruined, so i tell myself, "okay, this day isn't going to make me gain a ton of weight, so ill just start tomorrow" but then it happens the next day. how do i improve my discipline or any ideas about not stuffing my face after eating a cookie.

You're just going to have to suck it up and tell yourself no. Keep in mind the prize waiting for you when you reach your goal: skinny clothes! I was faced with this same situation the other day, and I made myself think about the progress I've already made (well only 3 pounds loss so far in 2 weeks, but still progress!). Try not to eat anything unless you know how many calories it contains. Limit your calories to say 1500 a day. This will help you realize that you really can't have that brownie if it makes you go over your calories for the day. However, I will let myself have a brownie or cookie if I know I haven't gone over 1200 calories for the day (that's the limit I've put myself on). Whew! A lot of rambling for an answer, but anyways good luck!

Don't buy the bad foods! Don't let them near you! If you do most or all of the grocery shopping, this can work out for you. I simply skip the snack isles. If my hubby complains, I tell him too bad, eat junk while you're at work. If someone else in your home buys them, then you just have learn some self control. If you don't pick up the first cookie, then sure enough, you won't pick up the second. If you really want those pounds to come off, then you have to stop before you've started.

well this is very hard! Um lets see well when you are commited to something you cant stop. You have to think about what are you doing before you put the food in your mouth. Maybe you should take healthy snaks, so you wont eat fast food or not that so healthy food. Carry a little plastic bag with like carrots, grapes,or nuts. That will help you stop the crave. HOPE THSI HELPS!
