I have been told by many guy friends over the years that short skirts are great - on women under 30 and when no "cottage cheese" ripple effect cellulite is showing in the legs. I have never heard short skirts referred to as classy or elegant, but yes, sexy. In other words, on the right body type, on the right occasion. The tv show What Not to Wear seems to agree, I love that show, but they say over 30 no minis, so I guess the guys knew what they were talking about.

Yeah I like the answers here.
We LOVE short skirts, both psychologically and physiologically.
In our minds, when a woman has on a short shirt, there's a desire to be taboo and excitement to sneak a peek, especially when she struggles with keeping her modesty (keeping her legs closed or keeping it from riding up). Seeing this struggle is almost as exciting as actually seeing a hint of underwear.
As boys we are taught that it's wrong to look up a girl's dress, and yet psychologically everything we desire in life is there. So when there's less clothing between a guy and his ultimate desire, we feel that we aren't to blame if anything is exposed....and we have a happier day.
Women capitalize on this little loophole too, as they were just as restricted as little girls: "keep your dress down, keep your legs closed. Its not lady like to..". Women love to feel desirable and know how to drive men wild, and by wearing a short skirts they can do both and also feel blameless as they, "oops", give a little show.
So I would have to answer "yes" to both of your questions.

Yes we love them. They are very sexy. They will also make men jealous which is kinda funny. Its like flirting with disaster . The excitement of being with a girl that wears them out. Now if your looking to meet someone. You will pretty much have the pick of the litter, and the litter box.
Just think what kind of man that you want to meet. Are you the Kinda person that would like them if you were a man?

I'd say it's a little of both, guys like them because they're so short and almost reveal what they wanna see. I like wearing them because I like to show off my legs >.> and they're just cuter then pants usually.

i personally am not attracted to girls who wear short skirts, although it seems most are :P i believe with confidence comes modesty, and unless your goal is to have guys view you as an object and not a person, dress with a little more dignity

of course we love them, it's such a tease most of the time and it can be revealing when you women want it to be. Also, if and when you are into it, it can be very easy access when you are in public and want to be somewhat discreet
