'Love is blind' doesn't just refer to romantic love. You love your kids, your parents, even your pets! So the phrase points out that the object of your love can basically do no wrong. You know how your parents can piss you off to no end - you wish they'd get hit by a truck...but let somebody f**k with them! You're ready to fight, right? Or change my example to one of your kids pissing you off and then somebody tries to abduct them or something - you don't even see what they did before this happened. That is love - unconditional - your new puppy might poop right in the middle of your bed - but after you finish yelling and cleaning it up, you look over at his cute little sweet sad face...poop? what poop?

Love is blind means that we are blinded by the feelings. You stop thinking logically and stop "seeing" the obvious things. You know when you're in love because everything else seems to have less importance than it did before. We act blindly without assessing anything and we feel for the mistake only later. Good luck!-

"Love is blind and lovers cannot see/The pretty follies they commit." Merchant of Venice - Shakespeare. A great quote from and excellent play.
Jessica, Shylock's daughter, speaks these words as she describes the foolish things we do to attract love and hold love. If you are familiar with the play you will remember that she is in love with Bassanio, the Mechant of Venice's friend but is close to being denied his love because he is a foolish party animal and not able to finance high falutin' lifestyle.
And by the way . . . do you mean "really"? Otherwise, good question. "The Merchant of Venice" is my favourite Shakespeare play.

how to type better if the mind is not relaxed
love is a subjective feeling not a absolutely true feeling. Feeling is like a sword that take its form thanks to the blacksmith. The blacksmith is the stimulus that you experience until now. The storm will come and break the sword, the sword is strong to presrve itself, the sword will be preserved though the storm is ignorant and fearless. Nietzsche said that love is the state where your emotion try to take control of you talent. The talent must teach the emotion so that the emotion will become genius. Genius make a clear separation, moral separation between good, evil and duty. He know his duty, he act without mercy to self to enjoy his will to duty.
Nietzsche warn that in love, we will see thing very decidedly while they are not.
You see decidedly the stock market will go down without caring about other important element that is "other is thinking like you"

For me...love is blind...because once you feel in love with somebody
you will only see what's beautiful in her/him. There's no good side nor bad side...everything is beautiful! And even how worst it may be...you will always find a reason to make your own excuses...and you're always willing to give endless chances.

It means that you look for what is good in a person and ignore their faults. Your feeling are so tied up that you fail to notice anything except what you want to see. Even if the object of your love is not responsive, you will fail to see it.

That if you love someone, that the way they look, the way they live, or any other thing that *might* imply that you could do better is unseen to you.
You love them. You don't see better, because the one you love is the best to you.

It means that love makes you stupid and makes you do stupid things. You can not see situations for what they really are when love is involved. Hince someone thinking that their boyfriend is not cheating when they catch him doing something wrong and fall for the she threw herself at me line.

Love is not blind - it sees more, not less. But because
it sees more, it is willing to see less.

No offense, but really is really spelled really. It means that when you are in love, you do not see the flaws of the person with whom you are in love.
