I agree with the guy above me, Genesis is out. God is still in the table.

First off it is a theory not a law,
Secondly, Although the theory contradicts the Adam and Eve creation idea it does not nesessarily disprove the Adam and Eve idea.
Most Christians will do one of three things when asked questions reffering to evolution.
1.Deny that evolution exists
2.Implement evolution into the creationism story(intelligent design)
3.Say that part of the bible was just a story and was all "symbolism".
The same things can be applied to the Christians view of the big bang theory.

Evolution is a theory to, but I don't think it disproves the existence of God. Maybe God created and changed things by using evolution.

The Theory of Evolution is based on thin "evidence" at best.
Even the atheist that at one time debated C.S. Lewis, Antony Flew said that the latest biological research "has shown, by the almost unbelievable complexity of the arrangements which are needed to produce (life), that intelligence must have been involved."
another quote
"The principle of [divine] purpose ... stares the biologist in the face wherever he looks ... . The probability for such an event as the origin of DNA molecules to have occurred by sheer chance is just too small to be seriously considered ... ."Ernst Boris Chain - Nobel Prize in medicine
To think that by random chance a cell membrane and DNA can form requires more faith than Christianity. There is a good book called "I don't have enough faith to be an atheist" that you should look into. If nothing else you can check out the video on Google.

I really do not like to go into this, but here's what I really think. Evolution theory is not all about disproving the existence of God. The more we learn about evolution, the more we would learn about the nature of God himself. God is mysterious, which I can understand but my point is that it would help us understand more about God in such a way that we can fully accept and appreciate his existence and creations more readily, would you not agree on this? Good enough, no?

No, just starts the process to the final discovery that GOD directed ALL the laws humanity is just now starting to understand, (and to the laws we don't even know about yet).
Expecting humanity, at today's level of maturity, to grasp all that GOD has done, and how GOD has done all GOD has done is pointless. Humanity has to mature so much more than where we are today. Of course humanity currently thinks we are so advanced, yet it's only been 50 years!
How can we think humanity is able to understand greater things/concepts when it's only been 50 years, and over half of humanity has not seen a toilet? Operated a computer? Why are we still killing each other for greed and power? Humanity has no control of lust, hurting each other with cheating/lies/etc.
GOD is so far from our understanding. And ALL the laws GOD has set up are not understood yet.

Let me start off by saying that the word "theory" to a scientist means something totally different to laypeople like me and probably everyone else on this board.
Evolution is a fact. Period. It happened... it's still happeneing. it will continue to happen after we are long dead and gone.
Does this disprove the theory of God?
No. All it proves is that most church people who have no idea of the world around them... have no idea of the world around them.

I don't know what you mean by "Law of Evolution", but from what I know of Evolution I know that Evolution is as much a theory as God is. If one is true then the other is false. They both disaprove of each other yet they are both not proven facts. If you think otherwise I'd be happy to tell you why I think what I know.

Evolution alone does not claim to have any knowledge of how life came to be in existence.
And before anyone comes in here screaming like morons that Evolution is just a theory...Please look up the definition of Scientific Theory. There are differentials.

Yes, yes it does. Although evolution isn't a law (laws only apply to physics, not biology), and god is not a theory (theories have proof, the word you're looking for is hypothsis).

Well, depends on how you look at it;
Some believe in God, but believe evolution too. Some only believe in God and that evolution did not take place.
In my opinion, yes, it disproves God.
