Seriously.....And don't give me the 10 commandants argument, because people kill animals and the commandant merely says "thou shall not kill," not " the humans shall not kill each other"

Not to deny that there aren't loving, caring people out there, or that people should just kill anyone, but what about drug dealers, evil people and the like.

Has anyone seen the movie "Indian Runner"--Charles you lack logic/reasoning--Islam subjagation? How about American subjagation--This is not a wish to harm others--Looking for logic, not "just because" or some religious belief--The UN has/is ignoring genocides and mass deaths due to lack of action on behalf of corporations and those who can make a difference--Drug dealers are good, okay so crack and heroine are good, like corporate destruction of human souls and the planet is good--The world would still be chaos (as it is now) but only at first and then evolution, true spiritual evolution could occur because people would hate killing altogether, even that of animals--Anyone seen the movie "Powder" Like noviangeli's comment the best so far, still lacks LOGIC, LOOKING FOR LOGIC, NEXT...

I have met people who do not have souls, and animals are innocent and should not suffer at our hands--you are sick. I do believe there are evil people in the world, and it is getting worse because "Evil wins when the Good do nothing."

I'm a vegetarian. How do you know it meant we could kill animals and not humans, it doesn't specify. I'm not talking about random "you made me mad, so I'm gonna kill you," sort of killing. You've never met anyone evil, no good intentions whatsoever? Prisons, should be abolished. We need drug rehabs. Rapists, hard core dealers, molesters, anti-social psychopaths should just be killed. They don't change. Do not take this the wrong way people, I'm talking about justifiable killing, a sort of weeding out the bad.

Why is it wrong to kill people, since most people....?
--- Its wrong to kill people because we are all human and depend upon one another. Every life is unique and precious.

1. People don't truly care about one another
----- They don't? You must live in a bad area. I know a lot of people who truly care about each other ...

2. People are not naturally loving
--- People are born loving and positive.....

3. People are generally ignorant assholes
--- Well, some are, not most...

4. People kill each other in wars

---- Not sure about your point here.

I'm for life, not death, killing and destruction!

Apart from the obvious reason of self defence... yes it is wrong to kill people. Frankly I could think of a few dictators along the way that most of us would have preferred they hadnt been born.. but at the end of the day it is not our right to decide who should live or die. What if someone took a dislike to your haircut or something should they be able to kill you? The twist to this story is that we do not know what the future holds and only recently i heard how theer is one single aids survivor who has outlasted everyone else and remained perfectly healthy irrespective of the infection and that he has antibodies to the virus. It turns out that caught a slightly mutated version and his imune system was able to successfully create antibodies to it that may eventually for the basis of a preventative vaccine. Now- what would have happened if someone with an aids phobia had of killed him a few years ago? So far as drug dealers etc- they are scum but they were in many cases lured by a freebie or two to hook them and they are then forced to deal to feed their habit. i hate tehm and if they die of an overdose good riddence but... some of them have cleaned up their act and lecture at schools or taken up social work and make a big impact on at least preventing some people from going down that path. How are we to judge who will or wont end up turning their life around? Unfortunately we all have to learn how to deal with our own personal demons and wherever possible give a helping hand in the right place at the right time to turn some of those ******* etc around.

What you say is true. But you see, we live in a hypocritical state of mind, but really, we all know what it is; stick with your team and kill everybody else, or for some, it's about taking power, so they try to make themselves look better. Eh.

It's also about having "law and order", even if anarchy is the only true way; seriously, I hate governments so much, they're all just bullcrap, so someone can be powerful, like cult scams. Jeezus.
But I guess it's also to "prevent" chaos, even if there is Genocide in Darfur, serial killers loose, mafia killing people, governments killing ten times more people than that, etc. We live in hypocricy and always will, we need to get used to it, even if it makes us sick.

Also, these "pro-life" people are all sick hypocrites; these hypocrites say they value human life so much, but you'll see, when they see a terrorist or a person that threatens them in some way, they won't feel the same. Just ignore them, they don't know what they want. :)

P.S, I agree with you, Charles is a dick who doesn't know anything or he's just another so-called "good citizen" who ignores all the atrocities that goes on and went on, because it makes him uncomfortable. We should all rip on him or leave him alone.

Well people shouldn't kill each other. It is not right to kill in war, whether people are ignorant of the fact or not. It is not humane to kill people, and I personnaly don't eat meat or wear animal by-products so I don't really fit into any of your categories, anyone who wishes to harm another has a psychological problem. War is bad, but people turn a blind eye to it because it is too much trouble to take a stand, they are brought up a certain way so you don't really think about the fact that innocent people are dying. I think people do truly care about each other, and I also think we are naturally loving, there are just occasional bad apples who don't fint into the category. But yes I agree with you on some level that some rich people do see money as power and they have "God" complexes and think they have the right to take life and they DONT!

First, do you eat meat? Chicken, steak, fish, pork? If so, then that should tell you it's okay to kill animals. The commandment, "thou shall not kill", applies to humans, not animals.

Next, if we ignored the commandment and killed everyone who fit into your list, there'd be no one left alive because everybody has a bad day and everybody would kill everybody for whatever reason.

The reason we do not kill drug dealers or evil people right off the bat is because everyone has the capacity for change. That's why we have prisons.

It's wrong to kill because it would be murder and you would have been the one who decided their fates - this week. Next week their friends and families could decide the fates of your friends and family members and so on. It wouldn't stop until Mankind was destroyed.

Furthermore, I personally used to believe in the death penalty but I don't anymore because I stopped to wonder what would happen if an innocent person was executed for a crime they didn't commit. We wouldn't be "weeding out" the evil ones - we would be as guilty of committing murder as those we were trying to quarantine .

As a Christian, I can only hope and pray that you as well those you despise come to know God before it's too late.

God Bless You !

Man!! do you ever need help.

Thou shall not kill. This commandment is meant to be man to man not man to all living creatures. Not to far from this commandment in the Bible you will see God giving animals to us to eat.
If you look more closely you will see more good people than bad in this world.
If you can't see this then none of your other concerns will ever be understood.
I would suggest that you find a mentor. There must be someone around that you have respect for.

The universal law underlying all things is LOVE.
The animal loves by instinct.
Man has the rational sense, so he must love by learning. That is why the One True God successively sends down His Messengers here to teach man about His love and His knowledge. People who refuse to learn and practice the lesson of selfless love, condemn their souls to death, although they may earn other desirable things on earth.
And this is why the UN, a powerful institution of man, is making great efforts to prevent killing, even killing the criminals. In fact, with efficient education, criminals can learn and repent to reorient their lives before it is too late.

I don't see why you lump drug-dealers in with evil people, most of them are just trying to make a living. Don't forget, psychiatrists and doctors are drug-dealers too, the government just says it's okay for them to do it and pays them a salary, while a person on the street selling the same drugs gets jail-time.

The reason why it is wrong because only God is allowed to do it. After all he was the same entity who killed EVERY first born man in Egypt just because he could. He was the same one who drown an entire planet of people (the Noah's Ark story) because he felt humans were to wicked. I mean if you believe in all that biblical stuff.
