I just inserted a disk for a class for school and im trying to open it. A thing came up on the screen and says "From Windows explorere, click on the icon for your CD-ROM drive. Double-click on the Excel Files folder, the appropriate chapter file and the appropriate data file to open it"
But i cant find the icon?

Open My Computer
your CD/ROM drive is probably D:
click the D to highlight/select it
select "create shortcut"
- if you are asked if you want it placed on the desktop, click yes.
- if the shortcut icon ( will have an arrow on it) goes to the end of the menu, cut it and paste the shortcut icon to the desktop. It will come in handy inasmuch as you will be accessing it throughout your course.

Now you just have to open the shortcut to reach D: and look for the Excel folder.
