I had two male tiel's that were together for a very long time. They would sing and croon to each other frequently. They were best buddies. When I put a female in with them they acted the way male birds should, they fought over the female. There is nothing wrong with your bird's behavior. Try putting a pet safe mirror in the cage. One of mine would sing to it for hours. And yes they will take their sexual frustrations out on whatever they feel like, usually a perch or a toy. I agree with one of the other answers they should not be housed with the other animals, you are asking for all your animals to get seriously ill. Each animals fecees carry different bacteria and germs, many can be harmful to other species. Have you heard of the avian flu and mad cow disease? Germs are learning to jump species at an alarming rate please don't help them along.

Weiros (cockatiels) are not gay and straight. They are going in the box just to check it out. They can be very curious. But when they get their hormones going, they may hump anything.

You do need to get them their own cage. Birds are very susceptible to respiratory infections and should not be mixed with with rodents. Rodents can carry many diseases that are fatal to birds. Please do what is right for your birds.

A lot of animals actually have sex for the same reasons we humans do: pleasure. Since you have no females, they have gone and decided that they'll get the pleasure they desire from what's available, in this case your other males.

They don't understand the concept of homosexuality. Birds will often bond to other birds regardless of gender.
