They should be fine to eat. If you notice a white look to the cocolate that just means it 'bloomed'. A term meaning the fat from the chocolate has partially seperated from it. It is not bad, although it is usually recommended to eat chocolate within about 6 months for the best flavor. Also the nuts shouldn't go bad for about a year so you are fine. Enjoy.

Chocolate never goes bad and I even though nuts can go a little weird tasting with time I think that macadamias will be safe to eat because that chocolate cover sort of protected them from humidity or temperature that would have affect them.
Man, the things that we can say to justify eating chocolate no matter what LOLLLL!!!

Sure. It's possible the chocolate could have developed an odd flavor picked up from the wrapping, but six months shouldn't hurt it at all.

From one chocoholic to another.....chocolate never goes bad.....lol! If it's not white looking you should be ok. Once they go white they taste a lil weird.

safe, yes - as long as they haven't melted. Kind of gross-tasting? Probably. Old choclate turns a little white, and while it doesn't taste very good, if you don't overeat it, you shouldn't be ill.
