The other day upon the stairs
I met a man who wasnt there
He wasnt there again today
I wish that man would go away......

Sometimes he sits
and at times he stands
he often has nothing in his hands
Occasionally he's constantly there
who is this man who isn't there on the stairs

Well if you tell someone about the man who wasn't there then they might get suspicious of you. You don't want the authorities to get involved. I dunno, then again the man who wasn't there might not have been there for a long time- possibly may have never been there so a lot of people might not be looking for him. Tough call- I trust you'll do the right thing.
