Number 1. Nothing. Ignore him.
Number 2. Block him.
Number 3. Unblock him in like a week. Then if he contacts you again, either block him or change screen names. Other wise, there's nothing you can do other than contact a hot-line and report it. They'll track the person down.

What is the harm in ignoring him? If you don't know him and he seems creepy then the worst thing you could do is block a random nice guy. It shouldn't matter though if you aren't interested in online dating or anything like that. I say that you should be on the safe side. If he's really that creepy then report him. There are several places that seek out online predators.

I don't know you either, but if you're under the age of 18,then tell your parents and have them call the police. You may not believe this but some states don't see online predators as criminals. Have you ever heard of an organization called Cyber Angels? They work with local, state, and federal law enforcement and like going after online predators.

Don't answer im's from anyone that you don't know. Predators are everywhere and you should be carefull when talking to new people because anyone can be what ever age they want on-line,gender or what not. If you are ever asked inappropriate questions such as sex questions you should report them.

Any time you are wondering about the risks of a situation, always error on the side of caution. This means that in making a decision, it's better to lose something that might be good than gain something that might be bad.

Get his screen name checked out or however he logs on. But do not keep talking to this guy. He might be able to track your address. Call the police but dont let him know and be careful!

I bet you he is...or must be an ID theft too. You better be careful in giving out any info about yourself. A lot can happen in the internet...and one of them is such. This guy has questionable motivations in order to ask you such things. Report abuse if you suspect such. In Yahoo IM...you can do that...

1) I know they are out there. I guess the questions asked would be a clue..
2) what to do about it?? I'm sure there is some authority that you can report it to... and I would certainly suggest that... Maybe ask your parents for what to do...
- good luck

Block him or do whatever AIM allows you to do for unwanted chats. Also, tell your parents. They need to be aware of this. Do not give this guy ANY information online.
