Yes, there are hypocrites. To be honest, one should expect to see less-than-perfect people in the world… the central issue is that they realize their sins, come to Jesus to forgive them, and begin the work of striving daily with the Spirit’s help to lead to a more holy, non-hypocritical lifestyle.
Furthermore, remember that many people who call themselves Christians are actually not. They are cultural Christians (for example, most people in their culture belong to a certain denomination or church), or pseudo-Christians (they have ‘prayed a prayer and ‘accepted’ Jesus as their Savior, but have never truly committed themselves to follow and obey Him), or social Christians (people who attend a church because it’s a ‘good and acceptable thing to do’). Like other so-called religious people, they follow a form of ‘churchianity’ rather than true ‘Christianity.’
The issue is not whether Christians fail ... they will! The issue is that they are forgiven (if they truly are born again) and in the process of becoming holy and righteous … and less hypocritical.

Most people are hypocrites to some extent; a few are basically hypocritical.
Not all people stab others in the back. Avoid those who do (now you know who they are)...
unless your expectations were unreasonable.
Without any details regarding what you're talking about, it's hard to say.
If the only people you know are back-stabbers, you know the wrong kind of people.

I am a grandmother now and listen sonny, it is going to happen all of your life, so get used to it. The way not to be disappointed so much by people is to not expect much in the first place.
I have seen this time and time again that when you expect people to be perfect they will always fail because people are just not perfect. I have learned to put my trust in one person who promised to never leave me nor forsake me, and His love never fails. Jesus. Nobody else has been there for me but Him, all of the times in life that I've been disappointed by everyone else.

Isn't that sad? I feel sorry for you. We all know that people are hypocrites. I know that people are just rude sometimes. Jeesh! Even the people that answer questions are rude!

well, if it bothers you that much, then get the hell out of R & S. I know people are hypocrites, I don't think anyone can help it. It don't bother me that much! But damb man! don't let these people do this to you, if you cant handle the heat stay out of the kitchen!
