i was always a tomboy in my youth and now that i am older and trying to enter the professional world, i find myself behind the curve on the stupidest of levels - personal.

i do not, mostly because i can not, do anything with my hair. i never have. at most i pull it back into one or two ponytails or a really messy bun, but for the most part it just hangs limply off of my head.

every 10 months or so i go out and try a new style (something "simple and easy to style" i always tell the hair cutter) and i never style it, it never looks the way it did in the picture and i always hate it.

i am now considering this short cut and my family is saying that it too requires much styling. what am i to do? how can i learn to be a "hair pro" after all these years? is that really necessary?

me...

I dont think you would like that style just because you will have to work at that. I bet you would really like a stack in the back and long in front, w/ a little long layer on top.

Here's something that I know about. I am a former cosmetologist. In my opinion, if you want something simple and you want your hair long, just buy one of those big clips. Pull it up in that but, neatly. The style you want is going to take a lot of time to do in the mornings. You might want to check out other hair styles if you are looking for a short cut.

If I were you I would go to a hair dresser and tell them your problem. Let them know that you need something easy and ask them to show you how to style it when you are not at the salon. Doing your own hair just takes practice. You can do it!

If you are someone who wont put effort into styling their hair (the wash and go type) , that hairstyle is definitely not for you!! Why dont you try a simple bob with less layers?

you ought to mixture your hair colour now with a colour it is one colour lighter than your hair colour. which includes: mixture easy ash brown with a colour one shade lighter, then positioned a colour or 2 darker below. you ought to get greater uneven layers or maybe get razor decrease layers--for greater edgyness. you ought to bypass with bangs that is swept to the element or maybe improve them out to alter into layers. ****the main intense element, inspite of the fact it is which you should be gentle with your coiffure, so don't be afraid to take greater time to think of this one over...or in case you like something one individual says and something yet another says, you ought to fulfill them interior the middle or attempt the only that seems much less ambitious to verify if it works and steadily pass up. i think of you would be surprised at how impressive you will seem, once you're taking time to devise it out! solid luck!!! Oh--and do never experience compelled...it is your hair and no you may nonetheless permit you be attentive to in any different case.

That would look hott on you! Just remember that it will require time to make it look like that (the style you want). Practice makes perfect, so you will have to work with it and make sure you have the time

the style you want would be a tonne of work!
i'm the same way, i always get my hair cut and then never style it. if you want to go shorter, get lots of layers and then probably you'll just have to blowdry it and mess it up and it will look good.

To be honest, I think your current hairstyle is far nicer than the one you want. You are a very attractive young woman. Stick to the style you have.
