What can a doctor find out about my medical history?

There are some things I am not comfortable sharing about my mental health history. Is this something doctors have access to, or can they only find it out if I give reference of my prior doctors?

You have to sign a Medical release of information form. You can state on there what records you wants released. There are Hippa laws that protect your privacy.
