A guy got my phone number off my car (I advertise as a massage therapist) and asked if I wanted a "business opportunity." Long story short, after needing to look at his web page to make sure it's a scam (because I didn't want to drive 30 minutes to a presentation), I turned him down when he called back. Less than a minute later I get a text message saying, "Miss cricket phone and worry about gas queen, keep in mind that POOR stands for Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly. Mild_irritant: I guess I didn't clarify. He wanted me to go to a presentation instead of just giving me his web page but I told him I don't want to spend the gas money driving an hour (round trip) to the location. and I guess he figured out I own a Cricket phone (like Verizon).

Simple. Add your number to the National "DO NOT CALL LIST"
it is just for the @ssholes like him. If after the allotted time he calls, give them a shout. Oh yes, and check the local laws in your area. harassing phone calls in some states are considered the unsolicited ones like his.

EXTRA: Let your phone service know about the texting too. HEY! post his number here, we will all call him!
If we all call one time, and never again we might not be violating the above laws. But???? One never knows.

Write down every time he calls or texts you (well, I suppose it's in your phone). If it's done repeatedly and he threatens you, I think you might have something to go to the police with. One time isn't really harrassment. The guy is just feeling let down that he didn't make the sale.

Wow what a jerk he is...if you have his info report him to the police mind you it has to be recorded and you need his permission to record a phone call cause that is solicitating...he is a real creep and lots of people have numbers on cars cause that is advertising which helps a business grow.

I so totally do not get the text message he sent.

What's a cricket phone? What's a gas queen.

That's just weird!

Document it and file it with your local police I guess.
