It's clear that those who eat of Jesus' flesh and drink of His Blood have life within them to the effect that they never die (unlike those who do not and have to wait for the end of time for the eternal banquet). They just are instantly changed and like Esther she has admittance to the throne room at any time. We must not forget that the water was turned to wine at Cana on her request.

because bible-fundamentalists think that they are equal to the Virgin Mary, not to mention, more blessed.

addition: it is biblical that the Virgin Mary is BLESSED AMONG WOMEN, i wonder why they keep on insisting that they are equal to the Virgin. it is a very unbelievable conceit on their part.

Am I the only person that finds the idea of canablism and drinking blood is disgusting??? I could care less if it is symbolic or not!
I have no doubt that if you people were told that they had to litterally eat the flesh of Jesus to go to heaven that THEY WOULD DO IT!! Only of course if you had some blood to wash it down!

I'm not trying to be crude here. I didn't write this crap! IT IS IN YOUR OWN BIBLE SO IF THIS IS A VIOLATION OF YAHOO'S RULES THEN THE ENTIRE CHRISTIAN BELIEF SYSTEM ABOUT COMMUNION IS A VIOLATION OF THOSER RULES!!
(NOT TO MENTION NUMEROUS OTHER DISGUSTING TOPICS IN THE BIBLE!) ALL OF WHICH I CAN POINT OUT!!!

Face it those that follow a religion will do ANYTHING they feel is required by their God to get into this heaven!!! If you doubt this just look at human history!!! The Crusades, The Inquisitions, God knows how many cults there have been that had people doing all sorts of wacky crap like drinking poisoned koolaid!!!

I do believe that Mary's prayers can be powerful. I don't believe she is bodily in heaven, but that her spirit is there. Jesus once said that all are alive to God. I believe it's possible that the saints in heaven see what we're going through and can petition God on our behalf.

The Book of Hebrews mentions a "cloud of witnesses" referring to Old Testament saints. Why can't New Testament saints have joined that "cloud of witnesses" since the First Century AD?

However, don't discount the power of the prayers of believers here on earth. Jesus told us to pray. Paul told us to pray unceasingly. One of the epistles says that the effective powerful prayers of a righteous person do much good. Revelation says that the incense before the altar of God is the prayers of God's people.

Is it a contest of whose prayers or more powerful, Mary's or that of a living believer in the flesh? Does it matter? It only matters that we do our own part in the prayer department.

I was taught that Jesus answers prayer because you can't go to the Father(God) unless you go to the Son (Jesus), which makes intercession for us and the bible speaks of that, which I don't know about the Blessed Virgins, but eveyone have thier own beliefs.I just believe what I believe and try not to force my beliefs on someone that believes differently because everyone should respect one another regardless of beliefs.

Are you talking about Mary, the mother of Jesus? Let me show you a little Bible verse:

Matt. 13:54 Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. "Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?" they asked. 55 "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? 56 Aren't all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"

So, Jesus had FOUR brothers and at least THREE sisters. "Blessed virgin"?? Wtf, man, were all those other births virgin, as well? Did Joseph EVER get to screw her, or did the Holy Spirit just keep knocking her up at every opportunity? Man, looks like she wasted no time popping 'em out one after another! And you Catholics call her a VIRGIN?? How do you figure that? Aside from the fact that none of you have a clue about the reproductive process, I mean?

The catholic religion is miles from the truth! You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures. Mary is in Heaven, she cannot hear you pray and if she did, she would very upset with you for polluting the truth with lies and error.

Shame on the catholic religion!!!!!!!!!

Only cannibals eat human flesh!!!!!

Apparently, you are assuming that Catholics are the only ones who are saved.
It might interest you to know that my high priest is Christ and I pray to God in Jesus' name.
I don't need rote prayers and I was never commanded in the scriptures to pray to Mary.

"Whatever He saith unto you, do it." The Blessed Virgin Mary at the Wedding. Some very powerful words, indeed.

Why do you think her prayers are more powerful than those of Jesus?

Possibly because we are not and never have been Christians. Not everyone on this planet is a Christian. As a matter of fact Christians are a minority when considered world-wide.
