Dearie...
How do I put this nicely...
Dont. Mess. With. Dead. People. First of all, it's not very polite. Death is a resting period between lives. It's best not to disturb them unless it's absolutely necessary.
Secondly, it's not very safe. Spirits are not like the people they used to inhabit. All they are are collections of life energy bound together. They don't have the same morals or ethics as a human. They need to be uninhibited for each life, and so they are. They could be nice, but they could be not-so-nice.
Have a good evening! ^_^

Well, that would depend entirely upon what spirit you were trying to summon. Spirits are just like people. You might even say they are people. If you were trying to summon your mother you wouldn't dance naked on the back porch screaming "Heeeere George, Heeere Georgie Georgie". Unless, of course, you were trying to off her via a heart attack. Likewise, you wouldn't summon your dog via the cellphone.
So, first, identify the spirit you're looking to summon, learn something about it and then determine the proper way to address it. Create a comfy place for it to hang out when it gets there. Put yourself in the proper frame of mind for spirit summoning and go to it.
However, there are different kinds of spirit summoning. There is Invoking and Evoking for instance which each have their own process and considerations, and then how you proceed depends quite a bit on the purpose for your summoning.
In short, it's too complicated for just a spell. You need some training before you start messing with spirits if you want to be successful. To use a poorly constructed metaphore- Imagine you want to go talk to some folks from a different culture, a tribe in the rain forest. You can't just walk out into the jungle and start chatting away. First, you need a map to find them. Then you need some instruction about how to survive in the jungle. Then you need some equipment, a pack, comfy shoes, a floppy hat, snacks, maybe a GPS. And finally, you have to get a basically functional grasp of their language.
Dealing with spirits is very much like this. It takes training and preparation. I suggest starting with basic Astral Projection type work. It's better to begin by confronting spirits on their turf before trying to drag them over onto our side. It's just polite, you know? Then THEY will tell you how to summon them. And that's better than anything WE can tell you.
