I need to get my passport but here is the problem...I have a different middle name on my birth certificate than on my license or SS card. It's was a typo on the birth certificate and it's only one letter off. Do you think this will cause a problem when trying to get my passport? I don't have time to legally change my birth certificate.

You could go with the typo when you apply to get your passport. Once a passport is issued, even if you are taking a domestic flight, it is acceptable to show your passport rather than your driver's license. I have never been asked to show my SS card other than when I submitted the app. Like the other responce you got, show all three, they will probably let it go through. But, you may have another problem. If you don't have time to get your birth certificate changed, you may not have enought time to get a passport. It took 4 months for mine to arrive. I have been told there is an option to get it faster, but for a higher fee. That wasn't an option when I got mine, or if it was, I wasn't told about it.

The passport office will use the name the way it is spelled on your driver's license.

if you send all three there shouldn't be a problem becaue the other 2 are from the government too. I would call and make sure.
