me and my friends quote movies ALOT. just all the time throwing out random movie quotes. does anyone else do this? did people do this 30 years ago? when did this start?

I can honestly tell you that my husband, my brother-in-law and I speak almost exclusively in "movie dialogue." We can have an entire conversation with just random movie quotes. It's crazy.

I have two nephews and a niece who when they all get together will invariably do what you describe. I find it very entertaining to listen to them and they have such fun! They are in their 20's and 30's and have done it as long as I can remember.

we are ALWAYS quoting things from movies like Cars and stuff.

yes, i think we started it with ian fleming "james bond" movies cause sean connery is so suave in speaking. then "dirty harry" make my day you punk. it is quite fun.
