Very few. Most are killed by driving like idiots, especially in SUVs or 4-wheel drive pickups. They THINK that they can drive like it's a sunny summer day.

Blaming the weather is a pure cop-out. I've been driving for nearly 38 years and have never had a chargeable accident in winter conditions.

Bad weather does not kill people...bad drivers do.
If visibility is down in fog or blowing snow, slow down accordingly. If icy, slow down....drive according to conditions.
The speed limit on the roads, is the maximum allowed under ideal conditions. Unfortunately, some idiots think that they have to drive that speed all the time.
Use common sense, SLOW down and LIVE.
