I was thinking about planning my next b-day party as a Baking Birthday... where all of my buddies and i bake everything from cookies and cupcakes, and then stuff ourselves with them.... but i was wondering if there was anything that you've tried before that is fun to make and tastes good too! µy birthday is in Oct, but its worth it to plan ahead!

I make the meatball thing too. It is really good. I buy the meatballs at Sams or Walmart and just throw it all in the crockpot and cook on low a couple hours before serving.

Also someone mentioned brownies in mini muffin tins. Here's what I do to kick that up a notch and really make it pretty. Mix brownie mix per pkg. directions. Spray muffin tins. Fill 3/4 full and bake 10 min. Remove from oven and push a miniature Reese's peanutbutter cup into the center of each brownie. Return to oven for 5 more min. Cool 5 min. and run a dinner knife around edges to remove. Let cool on wire rack overnight to reset the peanutbutter cups. (I unwrap the peanutbutter cups before I start to bake and put them in refrig. It works better.)

Mini-Quiches

Ingredients

8 oz Cottage cheese-small curd
1/4 c Sour cream
4 oz Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c Bisquick
1/4 c Melted butter
3 Eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients with
Electric mixer. Grease mini-muffin tins or use Teflon ones.
Fill 3/4 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
Hints: Add onion, bacon, mushrooms, etc. May be frozen.
Reheat at 300 degrees or microwave for 3 minutes on high.
Note: These are great! Be sure to add cooked bacon and

this one is super easy and nobody will suspect how easy it was to assemble, let alone what the ingredients are

sweet and spicy meatballs

you will need

one pound of small meatballs - you can make your own or buy them already done

one eight ounce jar of grape jelly (sugarfree works fine)
one eight ounce jar of chile sauce

melt jelly in chile sauce on a low to medium flame until it is completely blended

if the meatballs are cooked, you can just proceed - if not, cook them first, but don't over cook them.

simmer the meatballs in this sauce for a while before serving or you can make it the day before and heat it up when you need it

i personally use the sugar free jelly and make my meatballs out of ground turkey or chicken

it really is good and you can easily double or triple the recipe.

Someone should make something that's not sweet like cheese tarts, cheese puffs, mini quiche's, tiny pizza things. Ooo and the and tell the person who can't cook to make those peanut butter marshmallow squares (if people know what those are, I don't know where you live or what people eat there).

Today on Martha Stewart, she made brownies and baked them in mini muffin pans.
