Why in most high schools do the prettiest girls are seen with the star athletes? Is the attraction usualy do to the fact that athletes have better bodies and are taller and more built or just to be with a "star player"? What is your attraction to athletes ladys? Also do you prefer men who are 6 feet and shorter or 6 feet and taller?

well, that's the way it is at my middle school (i end up hangin with the "geeky" people...but their cool in my eyes). i don't really know what's up with that. personaly i think it's kinda gross, couse they try to show off their muscles a lot and i don't find that attractive. i do like guys who are pretty tall. but i don't like to have to bend my head back too much to talk to them, if ya know what i mean. lol

I like men who are 6 feet and taller. That way I can wear heels and he'll still be taller than me.
Either way - about the high school thing. The big thing in high school is staying cool. Pretty girls are cool because well, they're pretty. Jocks are cool because everyone knows them as they're in all the major school events (a.k.a sport's games)
Since popularity is a job and you work to get in and you work to stay in, both pretty girls and jocks have to make sure that they stay cool. Imagine what an effect it would be on a jock's reputation if he went out with the slightly chubby girl with glasses, braces and a whole load of acne.
Hence, he goes out with the pretty girl, everyone envies him and he stays on top of the crowd.
That's my take on it anyway. I'm not attracted to guys who are jocks - I'd much rather take the guy who has feelings for something other than football.

I think we're attracted to them because they're athletically fit. They're almost always cute and attractive and have nice bodies. If you were a girl, you'd be attracted to them too! LOL!

Depends on the sport but if your talking about football and basketball which are popular sports in highschool, then yes, usually girls are more attracted to jocks because they want to be popular or they think its cool to be dating an athlete.

What a lot of malarky! I only liked those sensitive homebody boys in my high school. Just the thought of an athlete turned me off because of their huge egos.

I personally don't like athletes. Playing sports is a major turn off for me. As far as height goes, I don't care as long as they are at least a little taller than me. haha

Well, i like going with them because they have better bodies and they're way more popular most of the time. But we go with them 4 different reasons

Both the "star player" idea AND hot body advantage. High school is like Hollywood, if you think about it, it's kind of like fame...
I prefer guys at least a head taller than me (I'm 5'5")

because the pretty girls always hang out with the "hott" guys that was me i always dated the football guys but now i dont go for that whole look athletes are overrated lol

well i like athletes better because i play sports too and i would to play againist them and try to beat them. i aslo think they have good bods. but if your not an athlete you have to ethier be the same height as me or taller and have good hair and good eyes!!!
