A lot of iron pills will not assimilate properly. Get some dessicated liver from your local health food store.

There are multiple kinds. One kind- pernicious anemia- you need vitamin B12 shots once or twice a month. There is fatigue, but otherwise you are normal.
The other is megaloblastic, folate deficiency. A supplement with folate every day will turn you around in 8 weeks or so.
Then there is iron deficiency anemia- you need more in the diet or your don't metabolize it right. Iron sulfate or iron gluconate tablets on a regular basis will help this one.
I have a malabsorption disease, so I have to supplement with iron and sometimes I add B12 also. I generally jog 2 miles a day and I am stronger than most people I know. I would really hate it if someone decided not to be involved with me because of a physical condition I have no control over. Some people may see that as petty.

Anemia isn't really a sickness. It's just a terms for someone with low haemoglobin levels in their blood due to a shortage of iron. Once you increase the iron levels, the anemia is gone. If the iron levels are extremely low the person becomes pale and can pass out.
An anaemic person needs to take iron supplements and increase their intake of iron rich foods such as liver (yuk) and red meat.
I had anaemia all through my teenage years yet played football and basketball competitively throughout high school and college. Just take your iron and the world's your oyster!!

Being anemic just means that your bloodis thin. This could be due to lack of iron, protiens or other such things. Some aneamia can be cured by taking supplements. This woman should be having regular check-ups with her doctor and having blood tests to determine why she has it.
There is no reason why she should not be able to keep up with you at all. Just means that she bruises easier and will SEEM to bleed a lot more if she cuts herself.
This is nothing to worry about, and most certainly will not impact upon your lifestyle, unless you think she should be a pro-wrestler or take up professional boxing.

Anemia can be helped slowly. The red blood count needs to be increased; eat spinach, chicken liver and a good diet and the anemia can be fixed.
However, aplastic anemia needs blood transfusions all the time.
Don't work out too much. It's a pretty bad sickness and takes YEARS to develop: the liver has 5-6 years of B12 stored in it & it would take a lot of time to have such a terrible diet to make the blood counts fall down.

I understand you. It's nice to have that special someone at your side. Anemia is a lack of iron and it causes more white blood cells than normal. It is treatable through diet and iron tablets. Some people have it so severe that it tires them out something fierce, but again it's treatable.
Talk to her seriously and find out how serious it is. Don't tell her WHY you want to know because if she likes you she will lie to you, just ask questions about it. See what she says.
Anemia is not an illness it's a condition. :)

carrots do not especially have iron. pork and eco-friendly greens are sturdy in spite of the undeniable fact that. attempt fending off milk and do take juice or something with nutrition C on an analogous meal. Have milk and different dairy at a different meal.

It only means she has low blood. She only has to take a iron pill once a day to build her blood back up and she will be fine. Nothing to worry about, she can still work out with you.

Yeah, it's definatly curable. It can kill you, I think. But it doesn't, usually. If you're worried about it, ask your doctor for a blood test.
