Christians - I frequently see unsupported statements that claim the majority of either biologists, astronomers, or scientists in general, believe in the concept of a personal god. Would one of you please substantiate that claim with some current impartial data. Thank you.

Here is mine that says they don't/

"Most polls show that about 90 percent of the general public believes in a personal God, yet 93 percent of the members of the National Academy of Sciences do not. This suggests that there are few modes of thinking less congenial to religious faith than science is."

Scientist is a catch all term, it would not surprise me if some study somewhere came up with 50% of scientists believing in a god. What sort of scientist is an open question..

Well Albert Einstein believed in God. He even commented that Jesus Christ was his favorite Jew.

"I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details."

Many Scientists believe in a Higher Power. But what scientists believe has little impact on my Faith. I love God because he entered my life. To me thats all that counts.

My friend, it's called faith!
If you would like me to put it in another way:
Living by faith, hoping and praying for life after death, should give you peace of mind. If it is true, then when you die you can receive ever lasting life.

But just in case it's all hype, then you can die a peaceful death knowing you lived a good clean life, and set an example for your children.

Nuff said! I believe! I have faith!

Why is it so many of you taunt God...
This is a question you know can't be answered.
God loves you but will not put up with blaspheming.
