I think I have a compulsive eating disorder. I overeat all the time and can't stop eating. I eat a lot of junk food and breads all day long. I don't know what to do now. I've gained ten pounds lately, and it's starting to be hard to fit into my jeans that used to be loose on me. And I've grown inches along my waist. I feel really depressed all the time and there's nothing I really can do. And I always feel hungry all the time, I get hungry easily and am able to eat a lot.

You answered the question yourself...you said you feel depressed all the time. If you treat the depression, you will treat the overeating. It seems like the other way around, but you are more than likely eating because you are depressed, not the other way around.

wow, I can't believe the answers you are getting on here. I don't know why anyone would tell you that you might have diabetes or bulemia, that doesn't even make sense. It sounds like you have some kind of compulsive over eating disorder. You should talk to your doctor, you are probably depressed. It is a very bad thing to connect your feelings with food, and it is not something you want to get caught up in.

It's time to see a doctor. You are eating because you are depressed. Depression triggers hunger which triggers nonstop eating or overeating. Depression can be situational or chemically induced. If you think it is situational, then maybe you need counseling.

Don't let it get out of hand, if you do, you will put on more weight and become even more depressed because you are overweight.

Does overeating make you feel better? if it does your probably close to an eating disorder.. so you need to find the cause of why your overeating. You might talk to your counselor if your in school. Otherwise I would say talk to your doctor and he might ref you to a nutritionist who can set up a diet for you so you can make better choices.
