Serenade her with a guitar in front of a lot of people. Or you could make her something special, like a card, and ask her to be your Valentine. If she says yes, then inform her of the dance that was specially designed for people in her situation.

Hello Scot D,

I know that it's difficult, but you need to get up the nerve to ask her. You don't have to do something special. Just go up and ask her if she would like to go with you to the Valentines Dance. That's it. If you think that she would require something more dramatic, then you're interested in the wrong girl.

Just be yourself. That way, the worst that she could say is no. And, if she says yes, it's because she likes you for you. Got it? Best of luck to you.

YES there are some very special ways you can do this. all you need is a red rose, a handmade valentines day card (ask ur mom for help if needed :-P) and a smile. go up to her and give her the rose and say "will you be my valentine?" this sounds kinda cheesy, but believe me, girls will just melt.

Perhaps present her with a single rose and a heart balloon when asking her.
