Studies actually show that you spread the fewest amount of germs if you sneeze into your elbow! Think about it; your elbow doesn't really come into contact with many other people right (unlike your hand!!) Of course, if you are armed with a tissue, that works too. But I'm usually not the prepared...

Well, most sanitary would be in a tissue and then throw the tissue out, but when you are unable to grab a tissue you can sneeze into your elbow...you don't touch anything with your elbow.

At the restaurant I work at, we got told to turn away and sneeze into our elbow (which would be covered by our long sleeves), because it keeps the germs away from anything that would touch the food.

NEVER sneeze on your hands. A tissue, if available, elbow is also acceptable, but they are now telling people to bend over as far as you can and sneeze on your feet if you can't cover your mouth/nose

In your elbow, because if you sneeze in your hand and you touch a doorknob or something someone else will touch it and get sick. Wash your hands often and sneeze into the crook of your elbow.

Either of the latter two. Most people are pigs and don't have a clue, even people that work around food. They think they're doing people a favor by sneezing into their hand.

Into a kleenex tissue which you then discard.
However, since most sneezes come on very suddenly, into your hand is acceptable, and then wash your hands immediately.
Sneezes propel germs into the air around you. Clean up the germs pronto and protect your friends.
How nice of you to ask!

Into your kleenex. I hate it right after I sneeze and someone wants to shake my hand.

Cover your nose using a handkerchief, tissue, toilet paper or something. You can then put the hankie in your pocket or purse until you get home. The paper products can be thrown in the trash.
