Will The US attack Iran?

yes we will and dont be suprised if you see something happen this year, the reason for the whole troop increase wouldnt suprise me if it had something to do with Iran. O and if you look at a map you will see that Afghanistan and Iraq both border Iran. I believe the whole reason we went to Iraq was to get a foothold of that area for an attack against Iran... dont be suprised something will happen soon.

This is still a big question mark. The U.S. did not specifically mentioned that it will attack Iran. However, it didn't specifically assured that such an attack won't take place either.

But regardless of whether the U.S. will attack Iran or not, I'm 100% sure that the U.S. military high command is already preparing a plan for such an eventuality in secret. It is very improbable that an attack plan will only be initiated after the U.S. had finally decided for the attack. Creating an attack plan always takes many months of preparation, careful study of offensive strategy, logistical planning of weapons, troop deployments, supplies, etc..

It will be just like the the attack on Iraq, which was secretly planned many months before the actual attack took place.

Depends, I believe only if needed Iran acually egtting Nukes is not a direct threat to the US, although it is to our allies in the region. A war with Iran wouldnt be like the war with Iraq we could do it by air to defeat Iran and wouldnt need to invade. But my guess is the Russians dont want a nuclear armed Iran anymore than we do so I suspect they will take care of it.
