It all depends, the main thing is the area size. Large rooms will be cheaper by the square foot than small ones . Such as a kitchen and dining room with 300 sq. ft the cost could be about 2.50 to 3.00 a sq. ft. ........... But no contractor is going to do a bath room that is 5x7 35 sq. ft. for that kind of price !
