Since religion has no basis in reality, it's very hard for religious leaders to agree on anything. What are they going to do, call God on the hotline and find out what he really thinks? Of course not, so it comes down to "My holy book says this" vs. "My holy book says something else."

The dying but not yet dead United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) where world leaders confer for days to formulate an accepted resolution. This resolution is then debated in the United Nations Security Council where the United States and Britain would commonly engage in an all-out verbal war against Russia and China while France would normally get a headache. Veto threats and vetoed resolutions would then make the efforts of the UNGA wasted. The problem remains unsolved in a deadlock. And that's how we arrive at our present day world situation. In the end, no different nations comes in unity, and it's every nations fending for themselves under limited regional or political alliances like the Arab League and Organization of Islamic Conference. And yet, the West still wonders why the East hates them so much. Go figure!

As Muslims we don't have leaders. We don't have anything like the pope etc. We have Imam's who are people with a great knowledge of he Quran and Sunnah but not leaders.
Do Muslims and Christians have a problem that needs discussed? I was not aware we where exclusively head to head with one another. Strange, no one told me.....
