If she takes enough to pass out it could kill her. You need to tell a responsible adult what is going on now before she kills herself. This is nothing to fool around with.

hmm and i was asking this question a month ago so I could figure out how much it would take me to pass out. Tell your girl what all these people are saying. Maybe its time her parents do find out she doesnt need that vicodin. Feel better from what ?... Life? Tell someone you trust what is going on so you can help your friend. You dont want to find out how much it takes.

For starters, that type of pill is for pain. It is pain medicine, not an anti-depressant (sp). If taken too much, it can cause damage to your internal organs. She should tell her parents that she is depressed. It's not as "crazy" as it sounds. There are alot of people that are depressed, clinically. That's okay. Taking pain meds is not the answer to it. Her parents really do care. It may just seem like they don't. Plus, going to a "crazy kid" place is expensive. They would probably check the problem out further before ever deciding to do that. I'm not a doc, but I had a similiar expeirence with my little sister....good luck.

At 13 she shouldnt be taking something like vicodin anyway! It sounds like your friend has a serious problem hunnie, and with her age and weight, you need to tell her that if she dosent get help, youre going to get it for her! With her stats, she could easily overdose and be a vegetable for the rest of her life with a machine breathing for her and ppl changing her diapers, or she may just OD and die! This is not a "toy drug" and should not be treated as such! Tell someone you trust, and let her know she has a problem before it gets worse!

well, in all honesty..
it depends on the person..one pill could kill..
if you are her friend, you will go to any means to stop her nasty habit right now..it sounds like it has become an addiction, and addiction is a mental issue..

Where is a 13 year old getting vicodin, especially to use it as a recreational drug?
crazy!!!

vicodn is toxic to the liver and kidneys, and abusing it at such an early age is a death sentance...not everyone who damages their organs gets a donor..and those who did it purposely are the last on the list...

You can overdose on vicodin, it also contains tylenol. If you exceed the recommended dose, it will build up in the liver. It takes about 3 daysfor the toxins to build up, and the person dies of liver failure. If she has exceeded the recommended doses she needs to go the ER for immediate help.
