It keeps the pain and embarassment in your face all the time. LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH. It makes you suffer more and recovery can be delayed indefinitely because you have to keep seeing this person that you want but can't have. So now they get what they want, which is you as a friend (or trophy) and you get nothing.

because that guy broke your heart and if u become friends with him..u will always be reminded that he turned u down (well this is only true if u really liked the guy)

im sorry.
i am in the same position last school year i called someone over the phone and asked him out and he said that he wasn't allowed to date until he was 15. idk if he was lying or telling the truth, but i feel really stupid. we are slowly coming back together and beconing better friends. don't worry. go and talk to him.. email me if you need anything <3
