I took an online practice test and got 100%. Is the real one that easy? If so, what does this mean?

For the guy who asked, the sample test was found at: http://www.military.com/ASVAB

The ASVAB is ordinary. i wager it relies upon on the guy. The ASVAB is an same for all branches. if you're thinking the protection force, analyze the rankings you want on the various aspects of ASVAB for your MOS and concentrate on those.

It's no SAT, and never was supposed to be. Sample tests are not always the best way to judge a whole test either. The ASVAB breaks down your strengths into different catagories to see what jobs you can qualify for in the military, even if you are officer material.

all the practice tests are a joke----only about 20-30 questions usually
the actual ASVAB is much more involved and detailed with a hell of alot more questions--although if you are literate and intellegent, you should have no problems getting a good score

The ASVAB is based on an 8th grade level of reading, math, etc.
You can't actually get 100%. The highest score is a 99%, which is what I got. But then again, I scored a 33 on my ACT.
WTF am I doing in the military? Well, some people make bad decisions in life...

No. The fake on line might be easy on purpose to get you to come in and take the real one.

Before it was available on line, recruiters used it in their offices to guage what jobs people qualified for. It's not supposed to be difficult.

the national average is 42. That should tell you the state of our education system, and possibly the state of the nation's youth.

Never gloat. Use your knowledge to help others. This is something you will learn should you decide to join. Post a site and I will tell you how close it is to the real test.

Not even close. The real one is more difficult.

It indicates that you will do well on the ASVAB.

The Naval General Classification Test (GCT) was easy compared to the SAT.

Same reason most of the firefighter exams in the towns in my state are testing only reading comprehension and square roots...
