There are actually a lot of normal guys out there. Pick one of them instead.

I don't understand the term 'dissed'...! or 'beyach' either.
My guess is that the second is a typing error(!), but you used 'dissed' twice, so I assume that one is correct.

A little (a modicum even!) of punctuation would have made this so much easier to read ~ and not had me 'guessing' along the way.

Anyhow, you asked, > doesnt he care about the 8 years we've been together <

Well, from your perspective, then the answer has to be 'No.' But on the other hand, clearly he reacted to your turning him down, and that must show some level of 'emotional connection' ~ which might be called 'care.'

However, his child-like reaction to being turned down does tend to suggest an emotional response that is juvenile to a situation where he is 'not getting what he wanted,' and likely contains something of an emotional blackmail - in that he probably knew just how you'd be upset as a response to him and his behaviour.

I was curious about > recently he told me hes starting to like me again and then told me he wanted to go out with me < ......'!'

So what was he doing between the previous time and the recent moment of revellation? Was he busy 'Not liking you'...! 'Resenting you' ...'hating you' or....!

I think your reactions to him have been 'good' for you, to not simply allow him control, as if these things were like a 'light switch' where he could decide what will be by throwing the switch.

Stick to your sense of what is healthy, for you.

Best of luck.
Sash.

He sounds like a jerk. Like my mom always says there is other fish in the sea.

You don't have a 'relationship' with someone when you are playing house with them.

move on sweetie, you did not even want to be with him and if wants to throw you friendship away, he is not worth your time, effort, emotions. and feelings
