I'd apologize for asking him before she was ready. Tell her the truth. It is probably going to hurt her, but hopefully you can be a friend and support her though the pain. There are plenty of guys out there, there will be plenty who do like her in the way she likes them.

The truth hurts no matter what, and if you tell her, she will not believe you and get really mad. Dont say anything, sometimes it is the best thing to do....at least you are not the one that is sending her into spiraling depression.

Tell her the truth.
Lying about about will hurt her more when she finds out the truth.
Good Luck

she's your friend. tell her the truth. IF she doesn't like it and she values your friendship, she'll get over it. Just don't be harsh or condescending.

Don't tell her. She will find out on her own. Then you can feel free of any guilt.

If you don't tell her you're allowing it to get worse.
She may be upset but she'll be more upset if she doesn't know.
