I don't know, but perhaps some people don't like to learn from people who call them cretins? Some people are really sensitive to things like that.

Cretin: Cretinism is a condition of severely stunted physical and mental growth due to untreated congenital deficiency of thyroid hormones (hypothyroidism). The term cretin refers to a person so affected.
Hmmm, I don't see any significant portion of the population with this problem
Maybe you're using the slang for hopelessly stupid. At what IQ do you define it?

The question should be: "Why is the majority of society complete cretins? And yes the majoirity choose to ignore the truth. Remember when Satan tempted Jesus, and he took Jesus to a very high place, and showed him the kingdoms of the earth? And Satan told Jesus, that he would give Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth if Jesus would do one act of worship before him? Jesus didn't say that Satan wasn't ruler of those kingdoms did he? Satan is the one that blinds the eyes of the majoirity of men, so that is why they choose to ignore the truth.

Just because one has not attained the your superior level of intelligence and knows all things, I would be kind and not call them a cretin. Otherwise you'll be lonely at the top.

To answer your question I woiuld have to know what you classify as the 'truth' Maybe if you made your statements less obtuse, people would understand you and become less cretinous!
