What is window's vista i've heard alot of people talking about it but can't find any information saying exactly what it is is, is it the next window's platform after XP, is it just an add on to XP, or is it a internet browser program?

It is the new Microsoft operating system step up from XP and Windows Me. This is the official site that gives a discription:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/wow.mspx

Personally I would let them get the bugs out before I bought this new version. They use the general public to test their new products.

Have a look at the link below - is the Windows Vista homepage. Vista is the new Windows operating system (the replacement for XP), and despite the usual amount of whinging over the need for a more upgraded PC/hardware, have been using since the Beta2 release (and all subsequent builds) with great satisfaction. Leaves XP in the proverbial dust

Microsoft has not released a new Operating System (Windows) since 2001. Vista is the NEXT Windows to be released very shortly, much changed; folks are saying that this is as big a change to Windows as Windows95 was.
