Ok my dog is a beagle mix and she was impregnated around the week of nov. 16, she is acting all crazy rubbing her crotch on the floor and crying and licking herself, her nipples are huge and it looks like her milk has dropped, how soon do u think she is going to go into laybor?

Sounds like it will be soon! 58 - 63 days is how long the pregnancy should be. A normal temperature of a dog is slightly over 100 degrees. A dog will go into labour if the temperature drops below 100 degress usually within 24 hours. And yes, you take the temperature in the dog's anus. Good luck! And keep an eye on her. Try to notice where she is trying to make a bed and use the whelping box in that location. This may help her to stay in one spot, and keep the mess controlled.

from what my mom has told me. when her dogs used to give birth they did the same thing. they are comeing soon
you should make a place for her to give birth, a box would do since she is a small beagle, but make the box big enough so she would not squish the babies because there is not enough room for her to move around. place some old blankets or old towls in there. o yea, some people even make wooden Crate things for their dogs to give birth in, the puppies are comeing very soon. do what you can in the time you have, and believe me i love dogs and read about them all the time. i watch the shows and everything, i hope all the puppies come out healthy and lively

Pregnancy in the dog (all breeds) lasts about 2 months: 60-64 days.

Make a nesting place for her to have her pups, a box with lots of towls will do. Make sure you have a vet on call.

it should be really soon cuz dogs go into labor 58-63 days after being impregnated... if she passes that mark then she might need a C-section so take her to a vet after day 63

She should be having pups just about any time. It may happen tonight. She could already be in labor.

they usually stay prego. for 60-63 days ....keep a close eye on her to see if she needs help or if she has any problems....if so go to the vet....
