I could not find anything against abortion in the bible, but it does state that life begins when a baby draws it's first breath. In Genesis 2:7, when god "breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" Seems to me god would want anti-abortion to be crystal clear. He must be pro-choice

It says nothing specifically about it. But I like your point about the baby's first breath! :)

The bible says nothing about abortion. .Scientifically speaking, an embryo in a woman's womb is already considered a viable fetus . So, every fetus that is viable is a living being and every living being is a living soul..The bible only says "Thou shalt not kill" in the 10 commandments of God.

Thanks for the attempt at an inflammatory question.
Early Christians (and many modern ones) did not believe that the Bible was the single source. Yes, it is God's word as expressed by his disciples, but other holy men have spoken. In fact, the Orthodox Christian Church has set aside Dec. 29 to remember Herod's massacre of the innocents -- at the same time remembering all the unborn children who have been killed via abortion.
From the earliest of Christianity, there was a strong opposition to abortion.
"Very early on in Canon law, those who committed abortion were excommunicated for life – this was the same penalty as for murder. Later on, out of mercy, excommunication was limited to ten years." -- www.orthodoxwiki.org
That being said, it clearly states in the Bible that the Lord values ALL human life. Don't twist it into what you want it to say.
here are the Bible quotes you need . . .

Exodus 21:22 "If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely [a] but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows.

Psalm29:9The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

THINE EYES HAVE SEEN MY UNFORMED SUBSTANCE; And in Thy book they were ALL written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. (Psalms 139:16)

Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of the sons of Ammon and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead In order to enlarge their borders." (Amos 1:13)

The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Thus declares the LORD who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, (Zechariah 12:1)

"Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man." (Genesis 9:6)

Exodus 21:22-25 prescribes the same penalty for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as the penalty for someone who commits murder. And Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knows us before He knits us in the womb. Psalm 139:13-16 speaks of God’s active role in our creation and formation in the womb.

Abortion is not mentioned in the bible, abortion was not an issue when infant mortatlity was 60 percent and the average life span was 35 years.

I guess people in biblical times were more moral that we are now, it probably would never have occured to them to kill a baby before it was born. I'm pretty sure that would have fallen under the "Thou shalt not murder" category.

Adam wasn't born of woman, so that has no relevance to abortion.

Psalm139: 14 I shall laud you, because in a fear-inspiring way I am wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. As my soul [life] is very well aware. 15 My bones were not hidden from you. When I was made in secret, When I was woven in the lowest part of the earth. 16 Your EYES SAW EVEN THE EMBRYO OF ME, AND IN YOUR BOOK ALL ITS PARTS WERE DOWN IN WRITING. As regards the days when they were formed. And there was not yet one among them. No, he is not pro-choice, children are his gift to mankind.

Life begins in the womb. The Bible is clear. Abortion is murder.

Psalm 139:13-24
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you.

19 If only you would slay the wicked, O God!
Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!

20 They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries misuse your name.

21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD,
and abhor those who rise up against you?

22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.

24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
