Only if the agency that issued the warrant added you to the no fly list. I worked for an airline and the way it works is the passenger lists are matched through a data base with the No Fly list. Most people on it have more major offenses than just a traffic ticket. Is it possible, yes. Is it likely, probably not. Some jurisdictions will do everything they can just to get anyone that has a warrant and will add anyone with a warrant to the list, some dont care about minor infractions, just depends on how large the jurisdiction was that you have the outstanding warrant issued for.

We dont go checking data bases at check in, if there is a warrant or person of interest, the reservation is already locked before we even get to it and we have to call corporate security to have it released. If the name matches the person they are looking for, then law enforcement is sent with in seconds to apprehend the person at the counter.

Has nothing to do with where you are flying to or from, International would be more risky because they process you in Immigration, but it probably wouldnt be as big of a deal flying domestically.

Doesn't matter if you show your ID or not, when you say your name and the agent pulls up the reservation, its matched by your name. If you are on the No Fly list, they then take your ID and call in to the Security Center. They ask for specifics on the ID to verify if it is the person they are looking for. If not, the reservation is then unlocked and you go on your way.

Doesn't matter how you book your reservation, online, on the phone or in person. Again, it goes on a name matching system and there are people who have no criminal record or ties to terrorists cells that get flagged every time they fly, some get really upset, some just learn to deal with it.

Bottom line, get it cleared up before you fly to avoid any possible problems. Like I said, for minor traffic tickets, probably not but it depends on how aggressive the judge is when they file your warrant. There are some that are ball busters and put every alert out they can, some dont give a care and figure you'll turn up sooner or later in a routine traffic stop.

I do everything online when I fly, buy the ticket, and print the boarding pass. At the airports I've flown to they only make sure your ID matches your boarding pass. I dont believe they run your ID through any sort of local database for traffic violations/local warrants.

The airlines don't care much about your driving record - they just want to know you are who you say you are.
