"Wow, is there a beauty contest here?" In reality though, pick up lines don't work. They might of a long time ago, but they're played out and most woman have heard them all. So, don't use pick up lines cuz they'll sink the **** out of you unless you know it's corny and want a good laugh.

It depends on the situation, being able to say the right words at the right time... meaning knowing how to express the way you feel towards that someone in a total improv way.

You also need a 6th sense, in that you think that this girl you are after likes you too...

After that, just about anything works... even simple things like "Hi my name is David, what's yours?" The trick is to not be shy.

Pickup lines aren't the best way to get a girl. You should first get to know them, make sure they're comfortable with you, THEN ask them out.

But, if you must, here's one that isn't too forward:

With the most charming smile you can muster, say: "I'm not much of a gambler but I'm willing to bet anything that you've got a bueatiful smile."

If she smiles, say: "Ha! I knew it. Now you owe me date."

If she doesn't: "Oh, guess not." And walk away, she's not interested.
