I think you are talking about Coca-cola? I was told by a plumber that you can use it to keep your drains free of clogs. Wouldn't surprise me if it would clean a toilet too. The carbonation and acid is probably what does the cleaning. I wouldn't flush it down a toilet until the fizzing stopped though.

I don't know . . . but drug addicts have been dumping coke down the john for years . . . I don't know if anyone ever thought to check to see if the toilet was cleaner afterward.
