Meditating is not relaxing. It is described as controlled thought. You are controlling your thoughts to focus on one particular thing for a certain period of time. This is hardly damaging to your brain - if anything it is helpful. Your brain is like a well-tuned machine - it needs to be used to the highest capacity possible.

Meditation only releases your mental stress and helps to concentrate better hence nothing to worry. It does not damage the brain.

A drugs kill brain cell if given in higher doses!

The one that really bothers me is POT because it damages the eggs of future children to be. The Mothers don't suffer chromosome damage but the innocent ones born have assorted levels of permanent brain damage.

If you meditate the Word of God from the Bible it will strengthen your spiritual life and make you more mature spiritually. But otherwise other kind of meditation only make your brain passive by blanking your mind.
