For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

God - The Devil.
Christ - AntiChrist.
Angles - Demons.

Everyone with me so far?

What I want to know is this. Here in the UK we have a Christian charity that goes by the name of the Salvation Army. They give food and shelter to people who have neither. So where are the Damnation Army, and what do they do? Steal bread from starving people? Make it more difficult for people to survive on their own?

Or am I thinking of the World Bank?

Fair point rcpeabody - I meant that particular dualism to set the theme of good and evil being equal and opposite in their natures.

We have the same organization here, Falco. In keeping with Newton's Principles, we also have the opposite.........

The Salvation Army gives food and shelter to people who have neither. Then George Bush just takes it away.

I do believe its nemesis is the government. Pure and simple.

The reason the US went to war with Somalia at the beginning of the Clinton presidency was because the UN would drop off supplies to the people and the warlords would take it from them.

It would be anyone that would steal from the poor.

Considering how greedy man has become I would say that Man is the opposite of Charity. And unfortunately greed far outweighs charity in the world today.

Christians don't see God and the devil as being dualistic. God created the devil. God is all powerful and we'll all know it eventually. If you study Newton more carefully, I think you'll find God doesn't need an opposite. He's God.

Maybe it's the starvation army.
Faith based welfare is a worry, there are Christians who are worried they might no longer be free to discriminate and refuse providing soup to homeless homosexuals when the new anti-discrimination in provision of goods and services legislation is introduced...SOUP!!!

maybe the opposite is drug dealers.

they only think about filling their pockets and don't care about the lives they destroy. they get decent human beings to Steel, go into prostitution, and not be able to feed and clothe themselves (or those they care about) properly because they have to feed their addiction.

:)
